Glass Art Inspired by Nature
Water Lily Keepsake Box - Registration Closed
One of the many beautiful things nature has to offer is a water lily floating in a pool of water. Monet is the most famous of artists to capture a water lily's beauty. In this project-based fused glass class, we will create a 6" square tile featuring a water lily. The tile is mounted in the lid of a keepsake box after firing. The box measures 7.5" square and 3.5" in height.

The class requires minimal glass cutting skills, which will be demonstrated at the beginning of class. I will demonstrate a water lily project, but you may also choose a different flower, geometric design, or other. Just remember that if you are a beginner, you'll want to keep it simple! During the class you will assemble your tile. It will be fired after class and available for pick-up approximately 1 week after the class (in time for Valentine's Day!).
